Bad Weather Arrangement

Please stay tuned to any special arrangements on bad weather which will be announced through this website, Facebook and WeChat.

Before the event

If at 7am on the day of Fun Day (13 January 2024) Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 or Black Rainstorm Warning or above is hoisted, the event will be cancelled.

If the event is cancelled due to the above mentioned signals, there will be no rescheduling of the event.

During the event

If Signal No.8 or Black Rainstorm Warning or above is hoisted during the event, participants are advised to stay at a safe place until the weather and traffic conditions have improved.

Please be reminded to check the weather forecast prior to coming to the event.

How do I register for Alumni Reunion?

I have already signed up. How can I see my schedule?

You can login to view your schedule any time. Each time you make changes on the events you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email sent to your registered email address. However, you will not be allowed to make any changes from 11:59pm, 4 January, 2024 (Hong Kong time) onwards.

I have already signed up but I want to add additional programs to my itinerary or remove one or more. How can I do this?

You can login to add or remove any events from your itinerary on or before before 11:59pm, 4 January, 2024 (Hong Kong time). For the program enrollments tutorial guide, please visit here.

I have registered but didn’t receive a confirmation email. What shall I do?

Please check your junk folder and if you still cannot see it, please contact us at alumevent@ust.hk.

Do I have to register for events or can I just drop in on the day of the event?

You will get a limited edition souvenir and game card at the redemption counter if you have registered. It also guarantees you will have a spot and ensures you will get updates on the event. Although you may drop in at an event (unless it’s full), we encourage you to register in advance so that you don’t need to wait in queue for limited seats with other unregistered participants.

Can I bring guests along? Do they need to be alumni of HKUST?

You can bring guests to join the reunion and they do not need to be alumni of HKUST.

Can I bring my kids?

We welcome kids to HKUST! We have activities amongst various programs which are for kids, please visit here for program details.

Campus Access Policies

Where should I go when I arrive?

Visit the Atrium and redeem your free souvenir and game card at the DAO gift redemption counter. You can then join the events by showing your QR code(s) on your confirmation email.

Is parking available on campus? Is it free?

Free parking is available on 13 January 2024 if you have registered your car plate with us. Show the confirmation email to the security guard at either the North or South gate to enjoy free parking privilege on a first-come, first-served basis. Is there any mother care room on campus?

Yes, Mothers’ Station is established for providing mothers a comfortable and convenient environment for breast milk pumping. Participants of HKUST Alumni Fun Day are welcome to register to use the facility on 13 January, 2024 (Sat). To register, please show your Alumni eCard on the HKUST Alumni APP for your own use or for the use of your accompanying guests.

Registration
Please register at the HKUST Souvenir Shop by presenting a valid Alumni eCard on the HKUST Alumni APP.
